Change OMNIplay license key
If you need to change your OMNIplay license key, the solution is quite simple. Below you will find instructions on how to change the license key per platform.
A new update gives the OMNIplay setup a new look, with the option to scan a QR code to configure your OMNIplayer remotely from your phone. Please refer to this guide after you have toggeled the OMNIplay setup menu for your platform. This guide explains how to change your OMNIplay license key with the new setup, among other features.
Note: If you are on a private or Norwegian server, please refer to this article on how to configure your license key to the private server.
Samsung
Press 0 (zero) on the remote when the OMNIplay app running to edit. Open the OMNIplay setup guide and follow the instructions to change your license key.
LG WebOS
Press 0 (zero) on the remote when the OMNIplay app running to edit. Open the OMNIplay setup guide and follow the instructions to change your license key.
Android Non-touch (OMNIplay3 and other)
Android Touch (Doorsign and other):
- Open the settings panel (most app require triple tap on the display for this)
- Select the cog wheel icon (settings)
- Select Yes when the app prompts you to reset.
- Enter the new license key, save and restart the device if not done automatically.
Please double check both license key and network connection if you have any issues.
When registering a new license key the device must be connected to the internet and the license key must match your license key in DatabeatOMNI.
